About The Position

Group 1 Buick GMC South is seeking a qualified Auto Parts Counter Sales Associate to join its growing team. The role operates the Retail Parts Store and supports the Service and Collision Parts Departments. The associate helps customers and internal teams identify, locate, purchase, and distribute automotive parts and accessories, while processing orders and maintaining inventory and an orderly work area.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the state where the employee will work and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Parts sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Retail Parts Store and support the Service and Collision Parts Departments as needed.
• Assist internal and external customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
• Process parts orders, invoices, and customer transactions accurately.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians to locate and distribute parts in a timely manner.
• Communicate parts updates, availability, and order status to customers and internal team members.
• Receive, stock, and organize daily parts shipments while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean work area.
