About The Position

We are hiring a reliable, customer-focused Parts Counter Salesperson to assist retail customers, technicians, and wholesale accounts. The role involves identifying automotive parts, quoting prices, processing sales and special orders, maintaining inventory, and building relationships with repeat customers and the service department. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturdays on a rotating basis every third Saturday. Compensation is a weekly salary plus commission based on experience. All interviews are in person.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive parts experience is preferred; training is available for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers, technicians, and wholesale accounts in person and by phone.
• Look up and identify parts using electronic catalogs and parts systems.
• Quote prices, process sales, and handle special orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory and keep the counter area organized.
• Build strong relationships with repeat customers and the service department.
