About The Position

Premier Truck Group is hiring a Parts Counter Sales employee to provide customer service and parts assistance at the counter. The role responds to customer inquiries, identifies appropriate parts, checks availability and pricing for items not in stock, maintains a section of the showroom floor, and helps warehouse personnel locate parts. The position also performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• A combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• A minimum of one year of experience in sales and/or counter operations is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

Nice To Haves

• Additional product training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
• Search catalogs for the correct part to meet customers' needs.
• Call vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
• Maintain a section of the showroom floor.
• Assist warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
