About The Position

Ron Tonkin Hyundai, a trusted Hyundai dealership serving the Gresham community, is hiring a Parts Counter Associate to join their growing Parts Department. As a Parts Counter Sales Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Department, technicians, and customers by ensuring accurate parts recommendations, timely fulfillment, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred, but the company is willing to train the right candidate who is eager to build a long-term career.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior automotive parts or dealership experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist service technicians and retail customers by identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive parts.
  • Accurately look up parts using electronic catalog systems.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocking and organization of parts.
  • Provide excellent customer service at the parts counter and over the phone.
  • Coordinate with the Service and Sales departments to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as needed within the Parts Department.
  • Work scheduled Saturday shifts as part of the regular workweek.
