Tasca Ford Berlin is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you’ll help customers and technicians find the right parts while delivering a high level of service. Requirements

Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred
At least 1 year of experience in an automotive parts or service department preferred
Knowledge of vehicles and automotive parts
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good computer, math, reading, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to learn and use new technology and systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to stay organized and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

Manage the parts sales process from start to finish
Assist retail customers and service technicians with identifying and purchasing parts
Help locate and source parts that are not currently in stock
Process special orders and communicate order updates to customers
Maintain accurate inventory and help stock and organize parts
Provide knowledgeable, professional recommendations based on customer needs
Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and dealership staff
Keep the parts counter and work area organized and professional
Follow company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
