About The Position

Rydell Honda Nissan is seeking qualified and flexible candidates to join its growing Parts team. The primary purpose of the Parts Counter Consultant is to quote and sell automotive parts to customers for Main Shop sales. The role processes orders and ensures timely delivery of parts to internal departments, including PDQ (Oil & Lube) and the Main Shop. The position offers a $1,000 signing bonus and pays $20–$24 per hour based on experience. The schedule is 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Friday and every third Saturday from 8 a.m.–2 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to collaborate, interpret, and communicate information that is not always straightforward.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a parts counter person, parts advisor, or in an automotive parts retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quote, sell, and process automotive parts for the Service department.
• Answer phones courteously and professionally.
• Maintain current product knowledge in accordance with company standards.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Coordinate the parts ordering and delivery process.
• Notify the Service Advisor when parts are available.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Bring a positive attitude to work every day.
