About The Position

As a Parts Counter Associate at Norm Reeves Honda, Irvine, you assist guests primarily through the shop and also by phone or online. You provide a professional, efficient guest experience by pulling and filling orders, organizing inventory, staying current on new products and product updates, and communicating with the internal team, external vendors, and guests. The role is onsite in Irvine, California, pays $19 per hour, and is full-time. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Sunday and one additional weekday off.

Requirements

Previous parts sales experience and a desire to continuously learn more.
At least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Excellent follow-up skills, including frequent communication about parts inventory and availability.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Full-time availability.

Responsibilities

Inform customers about companion-part requirements and specials and expose them to the full product line.
Notify the Parts Manager about out-of-stock parts or shop materials requiring immediate attention.
Locate out-of-stock parts through outside sources and submit emergency orders when necessary.
Notify the Service Advisor when special-order parts are received.
Follow up on back-ordered parts.
Weekly, verify will-call and back-order files, vendor returns, and stock items that were not picked up.
Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
Ensure internal parts requests are billed on the service repair order.
Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts.
Assist the Parts Manager in maintaining a lost-sales tracking program.
