About The Position

Cavender Toyota in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Parts Counter Associate with basic automotive knowledge, strong customer service skills, and an interest in growing within the automotive industry. The role supports retail customers, service technicians, and wholesale accounts with parts inquiries and orders in a busy dealership parts and service department. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Availability to work a Monday–Saturday schedule.
Automotive knowledge or hands-on experience is sought; previous automotive parts experience is not required, and training is provided.
Customer-focused, organized, reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and a positive team player with a strong work ethic.

Automotive parts store, dealership, or shop experience.
Dealership systems or CDK experience.

Responsibilities

Assist retail customers, service technicians, and wholesale accounts with parts inquiries and orders.
Identify parts, pricing, and availability using dealership systems.
Answer phone calls and respond to online inquiries professionally and promptly.
Accurately bill parts to Repair Orders (ROs).
Support inventory tasks, including stocking, returns, and organization.
Process warranty parts and core returns.
Collaborate with service, sales, and accounting teams.
Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly parts counter.
