Parts Clerk - Dave Smith Motors
About The Position
The Parts Clerk at Dave Smith Motors receives and processes incoming parts and supplies, maintains inventory records, picks and packs customer orders, and helps organize and maintain the parts warehouse. The role involves operating warehouse equipment, coordinating with sales and service departments to fulfill parts requests, ensuring proper storage and handling, conducting inventory counts and reconciliations, processing returns and damaged goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The position requires walking stairs and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with other duties assigned by management.

Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming parts and supplies in the parts warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Pick and pack parts for customer orders.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the parts warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to fulfill parts requests.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of parts and materials.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Process returns and damaged goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
