About The Position

Koffman Kalef LLP is looking for a Partner to join our Tax/Trusts team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with strong technical expertise to step into a collaborative, intellectually engaging environment with meaningful opportunities to contribute and grow. We are looking for a lawyer with a minimum of 6 years of call who brings strong tax knowledge and a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach. This role is well-suited for someone who is passionate about tax law and enjoys contributing to complex matters, supporting firm clients, and helping shape the continued evolution of our tax practice. We are open to candidates with portable, partial, or full practices.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of call
Strong tax knowledge
Solutions-oriented approach
Experience in tax court
Expertise leading tax disputes through trial
Proven business development track record and ability to originate and manage client relationships
Extensive experience in corporate and personal tax planning, trusts and estates, and private company planning
A thoughtful and analytical mindset, with a desire to contribute intellectually to complex matters
Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a team-oriented approach
