About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking an Optometrist (OD) to provide care across multiple locations throughout Arizona. This is a field-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical care team, delivering essential vision services directly to patients in a consistent, well-supported environment serving senior populations. This opportunity offers flexibility and strong operational support, without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice. The setting operates across established long-term care and skilled nursing environments with consistent patient volume, support staff, organized scheduling, coordinated patient flow, and structured, repeatable weekly routes, focusing on serving senior and underserved populations. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on patient care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Arizona optometry license
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a mobile, multi-location setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience with geriatric populations preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations
• Work alongside facility staff to coordinate patient care
