About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care services at an established partner facility in Minersville, PA. This role offers predictable monthly scheduling, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local senior communities. This opportunity operates within an outpatient clinic that is part of the region's largest healthcare providers. Clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment. This is a value-based model focused on senior citizens, located in a gorgeous, modern facility. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care. This is not a high-volume, production-focused model. Our optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location. We emphasize quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Pennsylvania optometry license
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience treating senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
