About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Marquette, Michigan. The optometrist will work as an extension of the clinical team in a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This role offers a predictable schedule and professional support without the overhead and administrative burden of running a practice.

The position operates in a community-based outpatient clinic model with full-time on-site clinic staff, organized scheduling and patient flow, and coordinated team-based care. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics so the optometrist can focus on vision care. The role emphasizes quality over volume, consistency, administrative support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery. It is not a high-volume retail model.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Michigan optometry license.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
