Part-Time Optometrist (Baker Optometry) - Davis, CA
About The Position
There is an excellent opportunity for a part-time Optometrist now available at Baker Optometry, located in Davis, California. This is a general practice optometry office in a university town. Our patients span all ages including children, families, college students, working professionals, and retirees. We have established a strong referral network with nearby specialists for all patient needs including retina, cornea, oculoplastics, cataract surgeons, glaucoma surgeons, etc. Baker Optometry was started in 2019 by a dedicated team who had worked together for many years at a prior location. Since then, it has grown steadily with two more optometrists, additional opticians and administrative assistants. As Baker Optometry continues to attract more patients we are in need of another professional, caring optometrist in 2025.
Requirements
- Optometry license in the state of California
- For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFM)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFM), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
Responsibilities
- 3 days per week
- Low stress patient schedule
- Staff Pre-Testing including Optomap imaging
- Automated Phoroptors to save your back and save time
- Large selection of trial contact lenses on site
- Mentorship support if you are a recent grad
