Part Time On Call Van Driver
About The Position
The Facilities Management department at Mount Holyoke College is seeking a responsible and professional Part-Time On-Call Driver. The department supports the campus community by maintaining more than 2,000,000 square feet of property in over 60 major buildings and more than 300 acres. The driver operates college-owned vehicles, including 7- and 12-passenger vans, to support college-sponsored events and activities on and off campus. This is an on-call position, with hours scheduled as needed. Occasional overnight trips may be required. New hires are subject to appropriate background checks, including applicable criminal, credit history, and driver credential checks.
Requirements
- Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts driver's license.
- Excellent driving record.
- Superior judgment and utmost care while driving.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service.
- Ability to travel for occasional overnight trips.
- Successfully complete the College’s driver credentialing program.
- Provide a copy of RMV driving record.
Responsibilities
- Drive college-owned vehicles for college-sponsored activities as scheduled.
- Provide transportation for assignments that may include department transportation, airport shuttles, or off-campus trips.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
