About The Position

A lovely family in the Huntington/Dix Hills area seeks a part-time nanny for their sweet 4-year-old daughter after daycare each day, for an immediate start. Care is needed Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 8:30 PM. There may be occasional weeks when care is not needed on Fridays. An ideal candidate will be engaging, reliable, and experienced in working with toddlers.

Requirements

• 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record + valid auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle to transport child
• No smoking on premises

Responsibilities

• Educational play and activities
• Driving the child; school pick-ups and after school activities (~12 minute drive one-way)
• Meal and snack preparation, being mindful of child's nut and pineapple allergies
• Light housekeeping related to the child
• Laundry for child
• Bath and bedtime routines
