About The Position

California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking candidates for a Part-time Lecturer Pool in the Department of Art & Design (Art History & Art Education). This position involves teaching courses at all levels (1000-level through 5000-level) within the discipline. Successful candidates will be expected to teach across all levels, work within the department's typical scheduling framework (two class meetings per week, Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday), and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population. The department emphasizes visual and material literacy, critical analysis of art and design, and community engagement. Requirements

PhD in Art History, Visual Studies or Art Education (or related field) from an accredited institution.
Degree in hand by time of appointment.
