About The Position
California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for part-time faculty, clinical instructor positions in the Department of Nursing. The university is a preeminent center of intellectual and cultural activity in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, serving approximately 19,000 students. The Department of Nursing is seeking candidates who can work well with administration, local hospitals, and community agencies. Evidence of BRN approval must be provided at the time of application. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students across a wide range of disciplines.
Requirements
- Qualified to teach at the undergraduate level in the BSN generic program.
- Clinical expertise in nursing.
- Outstanding teaching experience or potential.
- California RN license.
- Current clinical skills.
- Ability to work well with administration, local hospitals, and community agencies.
- Evidence of BRN approval must be provided at the time of application.
Nice To Haves
- Earned Doctorate in Nursing, or a Master's in Nursing with a Doctorate in a related field.
- Earned MSN will be considered.
- Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation.
- Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level.
Responsibilities
