About The Position
California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking part-time faculty, clinical instructor positions in the Department of Nursing. The university is a preeminent center of intellectual and cultural activity in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, serving approximately 19,000 students. Requirements
- Qualified to teach at the undergraduate level in the BSN generic program with clinical expertise in nursing.
- Outstanding teaching experience or potential.
- California RN license.
- Current clinical skills.
- Evidence of BRN approval must be provided at the time of application.
- Must be able to work well with administration, local hospitals, as well as community agencies.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.
Nice To Haves
- Applicants with an earned Doctorate in Nursing, or a Master's in Nursing with a Doctorate in a related field are preferred.
- Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation is valued.
- Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred.
