About The Position

Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks that support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities relate to classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. The department is Ornamental Horticulture. Work hours vary based on assignment, and appointments are made as needed. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, with applicants contacted for interviews as hiring needs arise.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of experience in Ornamental Horticulture; or an associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in Ornamental Horticulture; or the equivalent.
• Applicants relying on equivalency must submit an additional Equivalency Determination Form and include equivalency materials.

• Carry out responsibilities related to classroom assignments.
• Evaluate students.
• Contribute to curriculum responsibilities.
• Advise students.
