PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - HUMANITIES
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking part-time faculty for its Humanities department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks that support the colleges’ and District’s visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities relate to classroom assignments, evaluating students, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Work hours vary based on assignment, and the position is less than 67% FTE. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027. The stated starting salary range is $70.84–$86.11, based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule. Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting; specific conditions may vary by subject taught. Applications are kept in the pool for one year, and candidates may be contacted for interviews as needed. Employment offers are contingent on successful fingerprint clearance.
Requirements
- Master's degree in humanities or equivalent.
- Applicants applying based on equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.
- Successful fingerprint clearance is required before employment.
