About The Position

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting for a part-time faculty instructor in Music. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include work related to classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and other assignment-specific needs. Assignments and work hours vary based on need. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, with interviews conducted as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in music; or bachelor's degree in music and master's degree in humanities; or equivalent.
• Applicants claiming equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.
• Fingerprint clearance is required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks supporting the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District.
• Carry out responsibilities related to classroom assignments.
• Evaluate students.
• Contribute to curriculum responsibilities.
• Provide student advising.
• Participate in professional development.
• Address assignment-specific needs.
