Part-time Faculty - Business Management (Generation Park)
About The Position
Teach Business Management (Academic Transfer) related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may involve evening and possibly weekend classes. Faculty may teach using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. Some delivery methods may require physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Business Management Development.
- At least three years of full-time work experience in a business environment, excluding teaching.
- Extensive business work experience and/or industry credentials can substitute for some graduate-level business courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach Business Management (Academic Transfer) related coursework.
- Teach courses using delivery methods determined by the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
- Be physically present at the assigned on-site work location when required by the delivery method.
