Part-Time Faculty - Sociology (Generation Park)
About The Position
Teach Sociology-related coursework at Generation Park. Part-time faculty applications are accepted continuously and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. Teaching assignments may include evening and possibly weekend classes. Courses may be delivered through various methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, and may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits of regular full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Sociology.
Responsibilities
- Teach Sociology-related coursework.
- Teach courses using delivery methods assigned according to the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
