Part-Time Faculty - Music (Generation Park)
About The Position
Teach Music-related coursework at Generation Park. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted continuously and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may involve evening and possibly weekend classes. Courses may be delivered using various methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, and may require physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Music or a related discipline.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching Music coursework in higher education.
Responsibilities
- Teach Music-related coursework.
- Teach courses using delivery methods assigned according to the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
- Be physically present at the assigned on-site work location when required.
