About The Position
Portland Community College is accepting applications for a Part-Time Faculty Interest Pool in Radiography. This pool is used to identify applicants as the need arises for new part-time faculty. Applications may be considered for substitute or full-term class assignments. The department is looking for instructors with current ARRT certification and Oregon license in radiography, and at least two years of experience as a radiographer where radiography students were present (clinical training time counts).
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification.
- Oregon license in radiography.
- At least 2 years experience as a radiographer at a facility where there are radiography students (time spent in clinical training meets this requirement).
Nice To Haves
- Ability to teach current PCC courses in Radiography.
Responsibilities
- Teach Radiography Lab or Lecture courses.
- Potentially teach substitute assignments.
- Potentially teach full term class assignments.
