About The Position

Portland Community College is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Faculty Interest Pool in the Paralegal Department at the Cascade Campus. This pool is used to identify potential part-time faculty as course assignment needs arise during the academic year. Applications may be considered for both substitute and full-term class assignments. The department is looking for individuals who can teach current PCC paralegal courses and contribute to a collaborative and inspiring campus community that values equity and inclusion.

Requirements

  • JD or PhD in law and two years of work experience in law or a related field, OR BA or BS and four years of work experience in law or a related field.
  • For PL101, 102, 103, 107, 201, 202, 204: JD or PhD in law and two years of work experience in law or a related field.
  • Ability to establish residence in Oregon or Washington.
  • Official transcripts required within 2 weeks of offer date for required degrees.
  • Earned academic credentials from a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution with equivalent accreditation.
  • For credentials from other countries, transcripts must be evaluated by an agency in good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.

Responsibilities
