About The Position

This position is for a Part-Time Community Outreach Associate for the 2026-2027 School Year in the Fort Bend County, Missouri City, Richmond, and Rosenberg area. The Associate will conduct the Girl Scouts Inspire Me program, presenting contemporary issues curriculum to elementary-aged school girls. This role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time position to develop a career in community outreach with a nonprofit organization.

Requirements

Dependable, enthusiastic, and energetic.
Available two to four days a week, with hours varying between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Available to work 2 camp weekend events, which may include overnight stays.
Competent in making presentations to and interacting with large groups of elementary-aged girls.
Able to lift and transport supplies sometimes more than 25 pounds.
Ability to work as a team player with other Girl Scout staff.
High school graduate minimum required.
Holder of a valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Ability to work from home, as needed, including high-speed home internet access and accessibility to a non-distracting and uninterrupted space with adequate lighting and an ergonomically adequate workspace.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working/volunteering with youth preferred.
Prior Girl Scout experience helpful, but not required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable but not required.
Some college or a degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct the Girl Scouts Inspire Me program.
Present contemporary issues curriculum for elementary-aged school girls.
Make presentations to and interact with large groups of elementary-aged girls in various school settings.
Transport supplies to and from the Girl Scout office in Stafford as needed.
Travel throughout the assigned area.
