About The Position

Griswold Home Care in Central Contra Costa is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as part-time Caregivers. Requirements

• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Willing to be trained
• Good can-do attitude
• Local caregiver for local clients
• Reliable transportation
• Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Registered to the state (Has HCA number)
• 2+ years of home care experience; caring for a loved one counts!

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts!

Responsibilities

• Assist local seniors on both day and night shifts.
• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Help with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
• Communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of clients.
