About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid, in-office training, and pay is based on certifications and experience. Flexible scheduling is offered. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. Select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour in shift differentials. Daily Pay is also available, allowing employees to receive pay the day after working.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check as required by state regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal-preparation areas, and help patients eat as needed.
- Provide personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Do laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes; use a laundromat when needed.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies, and visiting the post office.
- Be reliable, arrive on time, and rarely be absent from work.
