About The Position

Comfort Keepers is hiring a compassionate, dependable, and attentive In-Home Caregiver to support a client in the Andover area. The role provides personalized, one-on-one care in the client’s home and offers a steady schedule with consistent hours. Caregivers help clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes. The interactive caregiving approach engages clients in their daily routines whenever possible to promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. Comfort Keepers provides training, continuing education, and opportunities to develop skills and advance a healthcare career. Eligible direct-care employees may have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program for approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training. Eligibility requires an average of at least 10 hours per week in a direct-care role and meeting program requirements. Scholarship funding is limited and depends on eligibility, available funds, and approved educational costs.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
Comfortable working independently in a client's home.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with personal care and daily activities.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with mobility and safety.
Provide transportation for appointments and errands.
