About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home services to clients in the local area. The role helps patients remain safe and independent in their homes. Prior experience is not required; the employer provides paid in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $13.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience, with additional shift differentials of $1–$4 per hour on select shifts. Daily Pay is available. Eligible employees may receive a $250 sign-on bonus in two $125 installments, subject to working at least 20 hours per week during each applicable pay period. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check, as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving, clean meal-preparation areas, and assist clients with eating as needed and applicable.
• Assist with personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
• Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry; perform laundry tasks at a laundromat if needed.
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
• Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Assist with telehealth visits.
• Provide companionship.
• Be reliable, dependable, and punctual, and rarely be absent from work.
