About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join our hotel kitchen team. The Line Cook will prepare high-quality food consistently and efficiently while following recipes, portion standards, food safety procedures, and cleanliness standards.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant or hotel kitchen experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining food quality and presentation.
• Complete daily food preparation and assist with setting up and maintaining the kitchen line.
• Check food levels and prepare items needed for each shift.
• Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Help minimize food waste through proper preparation, storage, and portion control.
• Assist with buffet setup and maintaining food levels during service.
• Properly operate and clean kitchen equipment and work areas.
