About The Position

North Shore Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Afternoon BCBA for their Pediatric ABA program in Deerfield, IL. This role is designed for clinicians who have existing morning commitments and are looking for a meaningful clinical role in the afternoons. The position offers a flexible schedule, built around the clinician's availability, with a focus on afternoon and after-school sessions. The role emphasizes true interdisciplinary care, working alongside SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers. The company utilizes a peer-reviewed tool, the Gracent Care Calculator, for treatment planning and refuses blanket hour recommendations. This part-time role can also serve as a pathway to leadership positions within the company.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Licensed in the state of Illinois and in good standing.
  • Availability to consistently cover afternoon sessions (e.g., 5 afternoons a week of half-days, 4 days with longer afternoon blocks, or another rhythm).
  • Strong communicator who is proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Passion for serving children and families, especially those with autism and developmental needs.

Responsibilities

  • Carry an afternoon caseload.
  • Conduct assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in assent-based, neuroaffirming care.
  • Support parent training.
  • Supervise RBTs.
  • Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers on shared kids and afternoon coordination.
  • Run intakes for families.
  • Hold documentation and treatment-plan standards at the same bar as the full-time team.
