About The Position

Propark Mobility is hiring part-time Parking Valet Attendants in Charleston, South Carolina, with opportunities to start immediately. The role involves welcoming guests, safely parking and retrieving their vehicles, explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures, and inspecting vehicles before taking possession. Attendants maintain a professional company-uniform appearance, help resolve customer issues, and perform nightly vehicle audits and parking-lot walkthroughs. The work is active and primarily outdoors, with exposure to prevailing weather, fumes, airborne particles, and minimal-to-moderate noise. All shifts are available. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of driving experience; the application also asks whether applicants can drive a manual-transmission vehicle.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least two years of driving experience.
• Be energetic and outgoing, and able to stand, run, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds if needed.
• Have strong written and spoken communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and help resolve customer issues positively and helpfully.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of valet parking experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle (asked as an application question).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests cheerfully and thank them when they leave.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly.
• Explain parking rates and provide instructions for retrieving self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain the company's uniform and professional appearance, provide friendly service, and help resolve customer issues.
• Work outdoors and remain active, including standing and walking and sometimes assisting with items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Complete a nightly audit of all vehicles.
• Conduct multiple nightly walkthroughs of the parking lot to check on vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
