About The Position

Propark Mobility is hiring full-time and part-time Parking Valet Attendants in Charleston, South Carolina. Attendants greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles safely and promptly, explain parking rates, and provide directions for retrieving self-parked vehicles. They inspect vehicles before taking possession and follow company guidelines. The role involves being outside and active for much of the day, standing and walking, and may include carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Attendants may also be asked to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks, special projects, and other duties based on operational needs. The listed pay rate is $8.00–$11.00 per hour, plus cash tips. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least two years of driving experience.
• Be energetic and outgoing, and able to stand, run, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds if needed.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken language, with a friendly and professional approach.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and help resolve customer issues positively.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of valet parking experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to drive a manual (standard, stick-shift) transmission.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them when they leave.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and in a timely manner.
• Explain parking rates and provide instructions for guests retrieving self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain the company uniform appearance and provide cheerful, professional guest service.
• Resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
• Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks and special projects when requested by local management.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
