About The Position

Propark Mobility is hiring Parking Valet Attendants for full-time and part-time opportunities. Attendants greet and thank guests, park and retrieve vehicles safely and promptly, explain parking rates, and provide instructions for guests retrieving self-park vehicles. They inspect vehicles before taking possession and follow company guidelines. The role involves maintaining a professional company-uniform appearance, resolving guest issues, and providing friendly service. Attendants are active outdoors for much of the day and may be asked to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks, special projects, and other duties based on operational needs. The listed pay rate is $17.50 per hour plus cash tips. The posting lists shifts of 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. and a location in New Hyde Park, New York.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least two years of driving experience.
• Be energetic and outgoing, and be able to stand, run, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds if needed.
• Communicate well in written and spoken language and interact with others in a friendly, professional manner.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and help resolve customer issues positively.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of valet parking experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to drive a manual (standard, stick-shift) transmission.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and in a timely manner.
• Explain parking rates and provide instructions for guests retrieving self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain the company uniform appearance and provide friendly, professional service.
• Resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful manner.
• Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks, special projects, and other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
