About The Position

The Parking Attendant provides customer service at a park facility, collects parking payments, directs vehicles, and supports safe traffic flow. The position is full-time and based at PCI Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California, with a graveyard shift and a stated pay range of $21.00–$22.00 per hour. The position offers a set weekly schedule, with extra hours available.

Requirements

• Customer service and courtesy skills.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Self-motivated, with a pleasant personality and enjoyment of working with people.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance; no visible tattoos. A long-sleeve uniform shirt is available.
• Facial hair must be clean or neatly trimmed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
• Must clear a background check.

• Cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cashier at the entrance and accept cash and credit card payments.
• Use a mobile device, when needed, to help manage traffic flow and special-event parking.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Obtain thorough knowledge of the park facility.
• Direct incoming vehicles to on-site park facilities and parking areas.
• Report known accidents, observed or suspected park violations, safety hazards, and unusual occurrences to the Park Ranger and immediate Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
