Seasonal Parking Attendant
About The Position
ABM Parking is hiring seasonal Event Parking Attendants to support the European Christmas Market at Union Depot in Lowertown, St. Paul. Attendants help provide a positive parking experience by assisting patrons, directing traffic, and supporting smooth parking-lot operations throughout the event. This is an outdoor position with all shifts taking place outside, in the elements; there are no parking booths at this location. The 2026 event schedule is November 20–22, November 27–29, December 4–6, December 11–13, and December 18–20. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour. ABM describes this as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. No experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
- No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
Nice To Haves
- One year of similar experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patrons attending events at Union Depot.
- Direct traffic and work near moving traffic to help customers enter and exit parking facilities.
- Communicate with managers to close parking lots when they become full.
- Responsibly operate company vehicles in and around traffic.
- Stand for long periods of 3–6 hours.
- Provide traffic control during event parking.
