About The Position

Hershey's Chocolate World is the most popular brand experience in the world, attracting nearly four million guests annually to its location in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Guests visit to enjoy attractions, dine, and shop for souvenirs. Exceptional customer service is key to the guest experience, and the team's mission is to create extraordinary impressions through its people. This is a part-time, seasonal position with work hours primarily in the summer and fall. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Requires availability for Friday evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat, rain, wind, and other inclement conditions.
• Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards.
• Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist.
• Ability to tolerate a repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers and function effectively as part of a team.
• Cash handling skills.
• Must have basic math skills such as addition and subtraction.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Parking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct guests to the appropriate parking areas.
• Maintain proper flow of vehicles in and out of the parking lot.
• Ensure spaces are available for guests.
• Assist with setting up parking cones and directional signage.
• Process cash transactions.
• Provide general directions and information to guests.
• Handle guest situations to ensure satisfaction.
• Demonstrate the Customer Service Pledge.
• Be approachable, courteous, and greet guests with a smile.
• Listen to guests and provide for their needs.
• Provide a genuine Thank You to every guest.
• Greet, welcome, and provide information to customers.
• Meet or exceed service standards.
• Direct traffic on Hershey’s Chocolate World property during peak traffic times.
