Parking and Crossing Attendant
About The Position
The Parking Attendant position is a customer facing role that involves being outdoors in all weather conditions. It is the Parking Attendant’s responsibility to continuously exceed the high standards of quality, safety, and world class customer service. The role offers a flexible and varied day with indoor and outdoor tasks, physically demanding and less demanding, customer service roles and behind the scenes work. This is an opportunity to be a part of a team creating cherished family memories and traditions for 80,000 - 100,000 guests from June through October. We pride ourselves on creating an engaging, and fun business atmosphere where we are always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate our operations.
Requirements
- An eye for details and cleaning
- An eagerness to learn
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
- Able to follow instructions and work independently as well as work as part of a team
- Ability to interact with the public and Wickham Farms team in a professional, welcoming manner with good communication skills
- Ability to smile, laugh and have fun for 6-8 hours
- A problem solver who can work in a very fast paced environment
- Must be at 21 years and older
- Ability to commit to weekend hours
- Ability to smile for 6-8 hours straight
- Ability to be on your feet, standing tall all day long
- Attentive to detail and embrace the philosophy that “Everything Speaks”
- Friendly, outgoing personality interacting with large groups of people
Responsibilities
- Directing traffic to open parking spaces and handicapped spaces
- Assisting guests to their cars as needed
- Helping guest’s cross the street safely
- Picking up and changing garbage bins
- Creating immaculate grounds at the farm
