About The Position

Discovery Cove Orlando is seeking dedicated, diligent, detail-oriented, and energetic Ambassadors for Overnight Park Quality. Working as part of a team, this role performs a variety of preparation and cleaning duties before the park opens to help ensure the park is ready for guests. Duties may include cleaning restrooms, offices, breakrooms, hallways, and store or merchandise areas; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing trash, dusting, cleaning cobwebs, handling laundry, and completing projects such as pressure washing and window cleaning. The role follows standard operating procedures and provides efficient, courteous service while maintaining a positive attitude and a strong commitment to quality. The position requires overnight availability, with shifts varying between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Work may take place indoors and in dimly lit outdoor areas, in varying Florida weather including extreme heat, and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, and temperature extremes. The role involves frequent lifting and physical activity, extensive walking and standing, and may require climbing to heights. Flexible scheduling based on business needs includes overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work overnight shifts varying between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Must communicate effectively and professionally with Ambassadors and others conducting business on the properties.
Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; some work areas may require heavier lifting.
Must frequently bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, climb, perform simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks, reach at or below shoulder level, and climb and reach above shoulder level.
Must be able to walk and stand extensively throughout the entire work shift and climb or ascend heights if needed.
Must be able to work indoors and in dimly lit outdoor areas in varying Florida weather, including extreme heat.
Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, and possible cold or heat temperature extremes.
Must work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be available to work at least one weekend day and holidays.

Responsibilities

Work in a team environment and interact professionally with others.
Perform preparation duties before the park opens, including restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, trash removal and disposal, vacuuming, and cleaning offices, breakrooms, hallways, and store or merchandise areas.
Remove cobwebs and dust, perform laundry duties, and complete various projects, including pressure washing and window cleaning.
Follow standard operating procedures necessary to perform job functions and serve a quality product.
Provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
