About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a Weekend Shift Paratransit Driver in Burnsville, Minnesota, to operate a Metro Mobility vehicle and provide safe, reliable transportation to passengers, including elderly people and people with disabilities. The position pays $24.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday through Monday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; schedules may vary based on route and operational needs.

The driver provides customer service, assists passengers with boarding and exiting when needed, secures mobility devices and wheelchairs, follows assigned routes and schedules, and performs vehicle inspections. Transit Team provides paid training, including training for applicants without a CDL. The company describes an open-door culture and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen.
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to safely perform essential duties, including walking, bending, sitting, standing, and assisting passengers as needed.

• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metropolitan area is preferred.
