About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a Paratransit Driver in Maple Grove, Minnesota, to operate a Metro Mobility vehicle and provide safe, reliable transportation to passengers, including elderly people and people with disabilities. Drivers assist passengers as needed, secure mobility devices and wheelchairs, follow assigned routes and schedules, and complete vehicle inspections. The position offers paid training, and a CDL is not required to start. Schedules are available Friday through Monday, either 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, and may vary based on routes and operational needs. Pay is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a background check and a 5-panel drug screen.
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to safely perform essential duties, including walking, bending, sitting, standing, and assisting passengers as needed.

• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Metro Mobility vehicle.
