About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a Paratransit Driver to operate a Metro Mobility vehicle in Burnsville, Minnesota. The position pays $24.00 per hour. Available weekday schedules are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, either 6:30 AM–4:30 PM or 7:30 AM–5:30 PM; schedules vary based on route and operational needs. The driver provides safe, reliable transportation and customer service to passengers, including assisting riders and securing mobility devices and wheelchairs when needed. The role includes following assigned routes and schedules and conducting vehicle inspections before and after trips. Transit Team provides paid training for candidates without a CDL. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Minnesota driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
Safe and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen.
Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
Ability to safely perform the essential duties, including walking, bending, sitting, standing, and assisting passengers as needed.
