About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a Paratransit Driver to operate a Metro Mobility vehicle in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role provides safe, reliable transportation and assistance to passengers, including elderly people and people with disabilities. Drivers help passengers board and exit when needed, secure mobility devices and wheelchairs, follow assigned routes and schedules, inspect vehicles, and maintain a respectful, professional environment. Paid training is provided, including for candidates without a CDL. The posted pay is $23.00 per hour. The schedule lists Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with schedules varying according to routes and operational needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a background check and a 5-panel drug screen.
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to safely perform essential duties, including walking, bending, sitting, standing, and assisting passengers as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
• A CDL is not required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities
