About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is hiring a Paratransit Driver to operate a Metro Mobility vehicle and provide safe, reliable transportation to passengers in the Maple Grove, Minnesota area. Drivers assist passengers as needed, including helping them enter and exit the vehicle and safely securing mobility devices and wheelchairs. The role also involves following assigned routes and schedules, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment.

The available schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; schedules may vary based on route and operational needs. The position pays $23.00 per hour. Paid training is provided, and a CDL is not required to apply. Transit Team describes its workplace as supportive, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen.
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to safely perform the essential duties, including walking, bending, sitting, standing, and assisting passengers as needed.

• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area is preferred.
