About The Position

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Paramedic for its Glen Ellyn contract. The Paramedic provides medical care and patient transportation at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within the scope of practice stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois. Starting pay is listed as $76,843.52, and the wage is also listed as USD $23.09 per hour.

Requirements

• Paramedic license.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• CPR certification.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Illinois Firefighter Certification preferred.
• ACLS; Metro will provide training.
• PALS; Metro will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level within the applicable scope of practice.
