About The Position

HealthCARE Express is looking for a dependable, flexible Paramedic to join our team as a Regional Float Paramedic. This is a PRN, as-needed position providing clinical coverage at our Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood urgent care clinics. Rather than being assigned to one location, you'll float between clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage. This is a great fit for a Paramedic who enjoys variety, works well with different teams, and is comfortable jumping in wherever support is needed. As a Regional Float Paramedic, you'll work alongside Providers and clinic team members to provide quality patient care and help keep clinic operations running smoothly. You'll also work closely with Providers and other team members to support patient flow, maintain patient confidentiality, and step in wherever needed to keep the clinic running efficiently.

Requirements

• Active Paramedic certification
• Comfortable traveling between all three Arkansas clinic locations (Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood)

Nice To Haves

• Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, EMS, or similar healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Preparing patients for exams and treatments
• Performing EKGs
• Venipuncture
• Specimen collection and routine lab testing
• Administering medications within your scope of practice
• Starting IVs
• Assisting with wound care and minor procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation
• Supporting patient flow
• Maintaining patient confidentiality
• Stepping in wherever needed to keep the clinic running efficiently
