About The Position
The RN Hospital Float works across different hospitals in Munson Healthcare, gaining experience in a range of settings and broadening clinical skills. Nurses work in positive, supportive, and compassionate environments guided by the organization’s values. The position offers flexibility to choose a schedule, with 24 hours of availability required every two weeks. Munson nurses practice in nearly every acute-care specialty and are recognized as clinical experts, mentors, educators, and patient advocates. They participate in clinical decision-making and quality improvement, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- Two years of recent and consecutive experience in an acute care specialty area.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Employees must be vaccinated or have laboratory-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
- Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
